2023 – Flat 100 South is one of the flattest sportive in the country. It really is a must do ride, entries go very fast so be sure to enter early.
The Flat 100 South was set up after the success of the original Flat 100 sportive in South Yorkshire, there aren’t many areas in the UK that you can ride a flat 100 miles but Peterborough is one of them.
With no hills of distinction in sight, the event is achievable by everyone, seasoned rider or someone new to cycling. Come along, enjoy the ride with plenty of support whichever route you choose. Feed stops, mechanic and emergency numbers available should you need help. Ride on your own, with friends, a cycling team and make new friends on the road.
Peterborough Cycle Hub provides a great location for the start and finish of the event, although there is no on-site parking, the nearest public car park is at Ferry Meadows (PE3 6LN) just down the road. With this in mind being the only sportive we have without car parking included, we have added a burger and now beer at the finish line for everyone so there will be a party atmosphere at the finish.
The 2023 edition is limited to just 300 places so be sure to book early to guarantee your place.

We always recommend that your bike is regularly serviced, especially before an event so it doesn’t let you down on the ride and spoil your day. Whilst we can fix minor issues on the road side, we can’t always fix major problems that could be solved by regular maintenance.
