If you have not eaten before arriving in the small village of Seascale your options for food are:

For those who arrive in Seascale late afternoon/early evening the ‘Food Hub’ at the Methodist Church will be selling a Pasta meal with garlic bread followed by apple crumble & custard plus teas & coffee and soft drinks. GF & Veggie options are available. Food is available from 5.00pm – 10.00pm on Friday. After 9.00pm it will be takeaway only. Breakfast is available from 4.00am (and not a moment sooner) to 7.00am on Saturday and includes porridge & cereals, fruit, toast, bacon butties (non meat/GF breakfast rolls also available) tea, coffee & juice. Food is excellent value for money, organised by local community volunteers and payment is by CASH. Cash only please.
There are also local shops including a new Co-Op which remains open until 11pm. It also opens at 7am on Saturday morning.
The team from the Lakeland Red Coffee van will be ready and waiting with coffee and cake outside registration from late afternoon at Seascale Sports Hall. Cash only please.
Saturday Morning – Food on Saturday morning is not covered in your entry fee
Breakfast options in the village:
The Food Hub in the Hall below the Methodist Church (organised by local community volunteers) will open early for porridge, berries, toast, breakfast rolls with bacon or sausage, teas and coffee with free drink refills available from 4am (and not a moment sooner). Cash only please.
The Lakeland Red Coffee van will be open from early doors selling fresh coffee and hot drinks. Cash only please.
Feed Stations – food at these stations is provided as part of the event entry fee.
Please remove gloves before and use the hand sanitisers before eating. Note that the way food will be prepared and served will be as we introduced in 2021 due to COVID. It worked really well and we are carrying it on. Do not worry – we will still be doing everything we can to keep you well fed and watered during the event. Please be patient, be kind and bear with our teams as they work to keep you fed and hydrated.

Saturday
We do not provide any catering at the finish. Clara’s Ice Cream Parlour is located right next to the finish for teas/coffees/snacks and Ice Cream. There are many restaurants, fish and chip shops and takeaways in Whitby. If you are camping at the Rugby Club you can get a taxi into town or many places will deliver.
Sunday Morning
The Rugby club will be selling breakfast between 7.00 + 8.00 am in the Clubhouse. Cash only please
