2024 – Newark Castle Sportive – Info

Long Route
As an early season Sportive, it’s great to get back in the saddle and as a 100-mile route, we have some rolling hills to contend with until getting to the first feed stop at Rippingale but after the stop the route flattens off a little until we get the second feed stop at Ruskington before stretching those legs again with a few climbs before reaching the finish line in Newark Castle.

Medium Route
For those that aren’t quite ready for the 100 miles so early in the season, the medium route gives you a great opportunity to see this Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire countryside. Plenty of little climbs to test those legs but nothing so long that it takes all of the energy from your legs.
Short Route
A great first taster of sportive riding, there’s no time limit and a feed stop in the middle at Brant Broughton. This fully signed route means you can follow the planned route easily, knowing you have support should you need it.
