We will be running the East Riding 100 in a socially distanced format, with allocated start times of 6 people every 2 minutes.

Registration will be done by post, so do make sure your name and address on the system is correct, otherwise you will not receive your rider number and timing chip in the post. Part of your rider number will have your car park entry time and start time printed on it, we ask that you respect these times and do not turn up too early for the event.

Thank you all for your cooperation in this matter.

The East Riding 100 was a brand new event for 2019 allowing riders to explore a new area, the East Riding of Yorkshire, the Yorkshire Wolds and enjoy some fantastic views. In its inaugural year, this event was very popular and managed to secure a place as one of the UK’s top cycling events!

Our HQ at Bishop Burton College makes for a fantastic venue where we have access to plenty of parking, accommodation on site (if you would like to stay the night before or after the ride from just £33 for the night).

All routes are more challenging than the rest of the 100 Series events, with 4900ft of elevation on the long route, with what feels like a roller coaster of long accents, winding descents leading to some classic climbs through Thixendale and Hanging Grimston, you’ll know you have ridden this one.

Although medium route still manages 2400ft of climbing but takes a more gentle approach winding through the Yorkshire Wolds capturing this beautiful scenery.

The short route, whilst still being challenging is a perfect place to begin and finish your first sportive.

After the event, there will be free photos to download from Adie’s Photography, a top local cycling photographer.

We hope that after you’ve tried the East Riding 100 you’ll be hooked on our value for money sportives where a great day out on the bike is all that matters.

Medals & merchandise

At Sportive HQ, we never felt that medals and merchandise were necessary, just great quality rides at the right price but we know that some people like a medal or something to remember the day with so we added these as options.

Our principal on this is not to charge a high price and give people free merchandise that they didn’t always want but to give you guys the choice.

So when you enter, you get to choose either the straight forward great value ride, or add a Medal, Giraffe Headwear, a tech t-shirt, a mug, a cycling jersey or the VIP Pack that includes medal, Giraffe Headwear and the Tech T-Shirt.

This choose what you want policy is what has helped us achieve our zero waste policy helping us to be an environmentally friendly company.

Online Entry Closes 23:59 pm 3rd August 2022. Before entering any of our events,
Please read our Sportive Rules, Terms & Conditions

ENTRY FEE: £40.00

The only question is… which route will you pick?

Thank you so much for such an amazing event! It was so well organised and everyone I spoke to was super friendly. I was a little worried as I was on my own but I didn’t get lost as the signage was really clear to read and I had a good chat with some fellow cyclists at the feed station. Great route, challenging in places, but that made it feel like I had really achieved something! The roads were super quiet too which was perfect. All in all I had a great day and wouldn’t hesitate to book up to do it again next year! : )

A brilliant ride. Great friendly atmosphere, felt like I made new friends along the way!
The signs are well done, never a fear of getting lost.
Loved the ginger flapjack, just the job!! Well done to all who organised the event

Steve H. Did the 107 Miles in 2019

This was my first big cycle event. Doing over 100 miles was such a big thing for me, and I was nervous to do it. However the way it was organised and the people that organised it soon put my nerves to bed. It was so well done, everyone seemed to take an interest in you, and it made the ride almost (almost)seem a little bit easier . I can’t recommend these events enough and the team who organised it. I will be back to do more now. Thank you Sportive HQ

Another incredible event laid on by Matt, Chris and the Sportivehq team. Parking is taken care of at the start venue with plenty of space before embarking on a rolling course though some wonderful scenery. 2 stops for tea and biscuits in addition to 2 feed stops keep you going, and provide fuel for the odd epic climb. Mechanical support is second to none with incredibly knowledgeable and helpful mechanics ensuring you get back to the finish zone, this year encompassing a bar, pizza, burger van and live music. You can’t get better value!!
