We make cycling holidays easy, we don’t ask you to find your own way to the start and back again from the finish. Meet us at a location where you can leave your car for a few days and let us take you, your bike and your luggage on holiday!

Our meeting location is just 2 minutes from Junction 33 of the M62, ensuring that it is accessible from all directions

The North East Coast line has some stunning views, quiet roads and will give you a holiday that you won’t forget, staying in bed and breakfast accommodation for 3 nights (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) with the event crew looking after lunches along the way, the only thing you will need to decide is where to eat in the evening.
Monday

Meet at 2pm, with your luggage and bike and let us load up in our secure vehicle, so your bike is stored inside our bespoke vehicle, whilst we travel to Berwick upon Tweed for your first nights accommodation.

Tuesday

After breakfast we will load your luggage and have your bike ready for the first days cycling. Todays trip will be from Berwick upon Tweed to Whitley Bay, 88 miles cycling.

Wednesday

Cycling from Whitley Bay to Whitby, 78 miles, crossing the River Tyne using the South Shields Ferry.

Thursday

Our final days cycling from Whitby to Easington is 87 Miles and some glorious country roads to take us to our final destination. Once reaching Easington, you can stop for an evening meal if you wish before our team take you back to your car.

On our holidays we use two vehicles on the road every day with first aid trained, experienced staff. Each days cycling is between 75 and 88 miles per day. There will be a lead vehicle on the road that will be setting up feed stops along the way, for this distance there will be 2 stops. The other vehicle will be the ‘follow’ vehicle that you will see regularly throughout the day, so there is no need for you to carry extra equipment and clothing with you, the follow vehicle is always accessible.

Accommodation is in twin rooms, apart from the first night in Berwick Upon Tweed where we use the Youth Hostel as it is central, couples will be allocated double rooms and male / female groups will be in 4 person dormitories. The price is based on you sharing a room, this will be allocated on a same gender shared room. If you would prefer to stay in a single room, do contact us directly for pricing for a single room supplement.
Accommodation is on a Bed and Breakfast basis and we provide the lunches and food for road side stops throughout the day but evening meals are down to yourself. Groups of 12 may have different preferences for evening meals.

Support

Our support team will be looking after you all day.
There will be a vehicle in front setting up feed stops and carrying your luggage between hotels,
as well as a following vehicle with your ‘day bags’ if you need to swap any kit over in the day.
We supply the GPX files for your sat nav devices so you stay on the route.
If needed we can lend you such a device to help in the day.
There is no expectation that the whole group of 12 rides together.
