Sportive HQ’s cycling events have been rated by our riders as some of the best events in the UK, riders that ‘know’ our events understand why they sell out so quick, so don’t miss out!
All of our events are designed with the rider experience at the heart, we work alongside local clubs to produce events that riders will want to do every year. We listen to what riders want from an event and endeavour to meet those requests.
At Sportive HQ we like to keep things simple for our events; with ample free parking, showers, changing rooms, a timed event with well-spaced, well stocked feed stations and routes to challenge everyone of all abilities.
With a choice of three distances on all of our routes, there really is something for every rider out there. The shorter routes are a great taster for anyone new to cycling, and you won’t have to worry about directions as our routes are heavily signed so you can just enjoy the ride, we love getting people riding bikes.
The Ross Tiger is one of our favourites, being a July date, close to the seaside, it’s a great event to bring the family to. They can wave you off in the morning and head down to the seafront for the day whilst you enjoy this awesome route around some of the finest hills in Lincolnshire, the Wolds.

This iconic event takes you on some fantastic climbs and along lovely lanes through the Lincolnshire Wolds, the 58 mile route takes you to our Velo Cafe Style feed stop where you can have a break, enjoy some great food and a cuppa before winding your way back to the HQ on some flatter roads than what you started on.

The 107 Mile, long route is a proper test of ability as it dips you in and out of the Wolds no less than three times. This tiger certainly bites in the last few miles – you will have to ride it to find out.

A greater taster of the Lincolnshire Wolds, if you’ve never cycled in this part of Lincolnshire, these routes will certainly show you that Lincolnshire definitely isn’t flat and has some great scenery and fantastic views.

The Ross Tiger 100 is produced by Sportive HQ in partnership with the Lindsey Roads Club.

After the event, there will be free photos to download from Adie’s Photography, a top local cycling photographer.

We hope that after you’ve tried the Ross Tiger 100 you’ll be hooked on our value for money sportives where a great day out on the bike is all that matters.

Medals & merchandise

At Sportive HQ, we never felt that medals and merchandise were necessary, just great quality rides at the right price but we know that some people like a medal or something to remember the day with so we added these as options.

Our principal on this is not to charge a high price and give people free merchandise that they didn’t always want but to give you guys the choice.

So when you enter, you get to choose either the straight forward great value ride, or add a Medal, Giraffe Headwear, a tech t-shirt, a mug, a cycling jersey or the VIP Pack that includes medal, Giraffe Headwear and the Tech T-Shirt.

This choose what you want policy is what has helped us achieve our zero waste policy helping us to be an environmentally friendly company.

Online Entry Closes 23:59 pm 1st July 2020. Before entering any of our events,

My first ever sportive. Loved this one. Super atmosphere, lovely people. Great course and markings. Highly recommended

Chris H. Did the 58 Mile in 2019

Did the Ross tiger for the first time this year as part of my preparation for ride London. i live fairly local and the route took me down quiet roads I never new existed. overall the route was fast and had very little traffic and a well stocked amazing feed station with a far superior variety of food and snacks than sportives which are far more expensive, ample parking at the HQ and brilliant atmosphere music etc at the finish.

William W. Did the 107 Mile in 2019

Atmosphere was great with friendly people who all chipped in to help if in need to be spurred on. Course was testing but a great feeling of achievement in completing it. Hats off to the organisers for making it another great day. Thank you!!

My first time doing the Ross Tiger this year, and booked it as a training ride for the Outlaw that I was doing later that same month. I had done a couple of sportiv hq events with friends previously and was confident enough with the set up and organisation to enter on my own, knowing I would probably meet some lovely people to ride with, which I did! Route was challenging enough but not too hard, with fantastic views, feed stations were brilliant and well stocked as always. I’ll be back next year!
